UCLA, USC, Bayor, Tulane, Good Samariatan, UCSD, licenced in 5 states, If you work in healthcare lets talk, others, healthcare will cure, sometimes, but everytime it will rob you.
I don’t see the big deal of this footage lol. And by the way… Universal healthcare IS the answer, and we will eventually have it. Obama will be the first to reform in a long time, and the system will have flaws, LESS than the sysyem we have now. It will pave way for a healthcare system that covers everyone, not just those who can afford it.
he has tried to include republicans but they say NO to everything..and their plans so far are to allow people to pick and choose what they want on their health care plan….which doesnt help those who still cannot afford any insurance!!?? its a terrible plan and its obvious they arent willing to think outside the box.

I do understand health insurance, that’s why competition would help consumers and improve care because the companies would have to cater to us.
I have good insurance, and I like my coverage, but I ONLY HAVE 2 CHOICES in my market. That’s the law. Californians only have SIX companies in the whole state.

Conservatives are fighting to make sure this deception is not perpetrated on the American people. Sen. Jim Bunning has introduced legislation that would change Senate rules to require a 72-hr. waiting period & an official CBO cost estimate before the Senate was allowed to consider any legislation. According to the sixth tracking poll by the Kaiser Family Foundation, 57 percent of Americans believe that tackling health care reform is more important than ever, up from 53 percent in August. The proportion of Americans who believe their families would be better off after an overhaul is up six percentage points to 42 percent and the proportion who think that the country would be better off is up eight points to 53 percent.

In the past 18 months, California’s five largest insurers paid almost $19 million in fines for marooning policyholders who had fallen ill. That includes a $1 million fine against Health Net, which admitted offering bonuses to employees for finding reasons to cancel policies, according to company documents released in court.

In Febuary 2008, a private arbitration judge in Los Angeles ordered Health Net Inc. to pay more than $9 million to a breast cancer patient whose health insurance it revoked shortly after her diagnosis and while she was undergoing chemotherapy. The plaintiff in that case, Patsy Bates, a then-52-year-old grandmother and hair-salon owner, was unable to continue her chemotherapy for several months.
Deceased Doctors – The Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations recently reviewed Medicare claims from 2000-2007
and found significant payments for medical services ordered by over 16,500 dead doctors between $60 million to $92 million. Some doctors had been deceased for more than 10 years
An investigation this summer by the House Energy and Commerce Committee, and earlier ones by state regulators in Ca, NY and Ct, found that thousands of vulnerable and seriously ill policyholders have had their coverage canceled by many of the nation’s largest insurance companies without any legal basis. The congressional committee found that three insurance companies made at least $300 mill over five years from rescission. Assurant.
