universal healthcare will cost more money than the system we have now, it will be subsidized which means hard working ppl will have more money taken out their paychecks so that cheap ppl wont have to pay as much, the quality of healthcare will be cheap in quality because it will have to cover “poor folks”, & its a system communist use. im taking a class in this stuff so im not jus talkin out my behind, then again, this are just my personal opinions so its not set in stone….

In Canada, with everyone covered by the health care system, the expense is approximately $700 per person. The system is not designed to make a profit, as in the United States where approximately $3,300 per person is spent, with tens of millions receiving no health care at all. Where does the money go? Not to providing health care.
It is my belief that American health care would be far less expensive under a single payer system, as in Canada.

Where is our “Universal Health Care” plan! Where is the “Change” that so much of us voted for! We have bamboozled and redirected. “Single Payer” is what we want. We need a “Single Prayer” health care plan. I know it’s not all on the presidency, but “We The People” should have say over our senators and representatives!! Constitution provides NO basis, no matter how far the stretch, for forcing its citizens to pay for government-funded and government-run healthcare as a replacement of what we already have.
What do you think life is? Those of us who are unable to afford health care are more may not be able to afford the medications, or preventative care that might keep us alive. Thus we are not guaranteed life. There is your basis for it.
Government-run health-care would be a good thing for everyone. If you have private insurance, they’re going to have to drop premiums to compete, or you could just take the government insurance since you pay for it. It’s win-win!

Reid Bills employer law esp punitive on poor families. IF hire emp in lo-income fam who qualify for an ins subsidy r charged tax penalty $3,000. Firm could save $3,000 hiring, say, person w/ working wife or teen w/ workparents, notsingle mom w/3 kids. Worse, only have to pay $750 an employee not$3,000 if 1′4 of emps are lo-income. Creates situation where, if firm has lots poor workers, can save $ dropping their health plan & just dump all employees into the fed exchange at their own expense.
